Building to Rent: A Strategy for Building a Contiguous Community

Spencer: We get a lot of criticism, both in the SFR space and the builder rent space, from people that feel like we are preventing people from owning homes. That could not be further from the truth. The fact is we're giving access to homes that would not be there normally and we're giving multiple options for people to access those homes. And then you look at what we do in terms of developing full communities. It really was born from the strong demand that we were seeing from the consumers and the scattered home portfolios.
