With this episode, we're going to talk about the difficult conversations you have in your role as a doctor. The pain management conundrum is an age old conversation that i think we've been having more actively over the course of the last decade because of the opioid crisis. And so i intend to delve into the actual pain conundruma more'n a few moments. We don't yet have a pain meter or a pain monitor. We can't measure your pain score thil we measure a blood pressure or a heart rateand therein lies the crooks of the matter. You have to trust that the patient that's explaining to you they have a complicated pain condition is really experiencing that complex pain
