The Platonist Denial of the Concept of Universals

Platonist view is that there is some kind of pre-existence to these concepts. Most extreme view is called nominalism, which just says that the concepts don't even exist in our mind. Schopenhauer: All experience happens in the intuition. Basically, we have our perceptions coming in. It's ordered in space. But for most languages, the word order matters and it does have to unfold in a kind of linear way through time.
