ITC's Sashitization Strategy Could Be the Next Big Thing
75% of all cigarettes in India are sold as single sticks. The Indian government could put a full stop to this by banning the sale of loose cigarettes. ITC, India's largest tobacco manufacturer, decided that small is better and introduced a smaller pack of just 5 cigarettes. It's embracing the famous Sashitization strategy that FM-CG companies love and swear by.
