The Popular Instinct in Philosophy

The more I think about that word philosophical, the more it sort of sort of crumbles in the hand and I don't quite know what it means. The ideal is to be loved by the holders of the philosophical flame and enjoy good book status. If I had to make a choice, I think I would probably settle for what happened to me ... There is a kind of popular intelligence, the wisdom of crowds if you like in this area.
