The Future of Aviation Fuels
We can either stick with hydrocarbons, which we'll stick with because they are indispensable right now. Or we can go on wind and solar with all consequences that could have been foreseen by those with an ounce of break and common sense. To me, it's just another hype that's not going to come to anything really. It wouldn't make sense to drive around in a hydrocarbon fueled vehicle and then pick up a gallon or two from a Bob's restaurant every day. I'm also recycling these waste oils. That's the right idea instead of throwing them out somehow. But to try and turn it into an actual alternative to hydrocarbon fuels, no, not so smart.
