The Lost Gold of Santa Claus
During the council of nicea, saint nick lost his cool and slapped another bishop. Legend has it that christ himself appeared in saint nicholas's cell and restored to him his ornate bishop's robes. The other bishops agreed that this was a sign that he should be reinstated as the bishop of myra. It's a fun little story and what do you know? It doesn't take that long to tell after all. But when i was writing the santa claus episode, i just couldn't find the right spot for it so i sacrificed a great tale for the sake of a tighter, more cohesive episode.
