Is There a Difference Between Compassion and Social Science?
i looked at a figure the other day of the overlap of the distribution in compassion and there is in the general population. We're not talking about, like, it's a totally different planet, you know, 70 % overlap. Well, this is something that people really don't understand, and social scientists don't understand it well either, although we should. It's a standard preto distribution, relatively small differences at the average level, and then walloping differences at the extreme.
