Is there a way that you could test this on the side while keeping your current job? Yes, there is. I don't see any downside. Ifou believe in the product, that's important. And if you have the ability to test it in some without jumping full on and burning bridges at your current opportunity, then the only downside would be what you said about the need to spend money,. or the idea of spending money.
