The Limitations of Transactions
The problem with the transactions comes from the additional operations that we need to do. So if you want to have a linarisable system, and yo cave with having a duplicate in the system, it avises to go without the transactions. The usual recommendation is to qich more data form the source topic and posess them in the large buches and transaction operations. And this overhead of transaction protessing doesn't introduce this. It still intreduces the additional over but its small compare to the work people are posessing enon limitation in the a bi itself.

Transactions are a necessary feature for ensuring that a set of actions are all performed as a single unit of work. In streaming systems this is necessary to ensure that a set of messages or transformations are all executed together across different queues. In this episode Denis Rystsov explains how he added support for transactions to the Redpanda streaming engine.
