The Risks of Atrial Fibrillation
Atrial fibrillation is a form of cardiac disease. Some people have it all the time and that's called permanent atrial fibrillism. The heart isn't innervated so in some cases, you won't necessarily know if you're having AFib just because your heart is fibrillating. It's more so what it does to the amount of blood that's being pushed out of the heart. And there was this big Apple heart study that looked at this because of the Apple watch. They wanted to see if they could sort of predict it earlier not predict it but essentially catch it earlier.
