Is There a Lack Mentality in Stand Up Comedy?
I fee like there's such a lack mentality in comedy, especially that i don't notice as much now that i've focused more on, like, writing and acting. I wonder if it's just a product of stand up being so solitary, like it really is. The thing that's amazing about stand up is you don't need anyone's permission. You're not looking for a team. It's just you and a mike. No one can stop you. And with acting, it requires multiple people,. You have to be an even better comedian than me. There's enough for everyone. Ever ome berings something different table.
