What's the Difference Between Guns and the Media?
One interpretation of what we observed is lots of coverage of the mass shootings and not so much coverage of this good guy who takes out the mass shooter. One way to interpret that is cherry picking, that the media has this story it wants to get out that guns are bad. When the good guy prevents the bad guy from shooting a bunch of people, you don't have a bunch of dead people. And so the tendency for this to garner media attention is somewhat lessened.
