Surviving the Hype Cycle

Not every technology is going to go through the hype cycle sequence. Some te will enter that downward slope after they peek, and never pull out of the dive. So you have to keep in mind that surviving the hype cycle and being a good technology don't necessarily overlap perfectly. We're still headed toward the peak of inflated expectations at this point.
