The AHRQ Study on PCOS
A total of 71 million weighted hospitalizations for deliveries were identified in the US from 2002 to 2019. The absolute N was 195,675. Patients with PCOS had a higher median age of 31 compared with 28 for patients without PCOS. They were actually more likely to be white race and less likely to be black or Hispanic ethnicity which raises a whole other issue.
