Isolating Visual Moments of Action
In screen writing, we have far less dialogue than we would ever have in a play. We don't have these long scenes where we unpack the action that happened off stage. Rather, we are usually going to dramatize that action and it happens like this. So what does all this mean? All this stacks up to the biggest reason why playwrights have trouble transitioning into screen writing. It's not about entrances and exits, and it is not about talk.
