Comparison Is the Thief of Joy
Theodore roosevelt said comparison is the thief of joy. We lean into these unhealthy traps that are very common, and then we stop there. Research shows that we tend to compare our weaknesses to other people's strength. And we also tend to compare ourselves to this mishmash, mystical person that we've created. So i would say social medias been comparison, and then outside of social mediats, it's been burnt out in uncertainty.
