"I just think that right now there is a confluence. And if you looked at my portfolio, you would see that I'm putting my money where my mouth is of things like psychedelic therapy," he says. "We should be doing everything we can to learn new things and to improve society."
Brom Rector is the founder of Empath Ventures, a VC fund that in invests in early-stage psychedelics startups. Prior to founding Empath, Brom sent several years as a portfolio manager and quantitative researcher.
