No, it's not new. It's as old as humanity. Does it feel to you like it's gotten more extreme recently, though? Well, so whan does it feel to me? Yes. That's one that i've done a very, very deep dive on. And that's happened all the time. You do not want to take an illusion of control away from a human being.
