Release Cycle and Feature Request Process

Open source software is released every eight weeks. The first half of that release cycle is open for merching tures, undoing changes and potentially adding features or changing things. In the second half we just fix bugs, then we do release, and then we start over. We don't even do emergeas releases for security fixes either, because theyre rarey that critical.
