The Democracies of Turkey and Hungary
I have very serious doubts about whether elections will ever directly bring about a change of a government. I think actually, if it's Schrödinger's democracy in Turkey and Hungary and a number of other countries, we don't know until we come and glue this whether the democratic mechanism is still present or not. When you think about context, for example, local politics is an avenue to try and to meaningfully challenge power structures at the national level. But that's just depending on where you stand because it is the democratic cat.
