The Importance of Patience

I like to think of the Earth's history as a four-volume set, 4,600 pages. Each page chronicling one million years. Single-celled life would debut at the end of Volume 1. Multi-cellular life would not appear until sometime in Volume 4. Everything that we might think of as recent happened on the last page. Isn't that incredible? I believe God is patient. The time He took to prepare the universe and this Earth for humankind His children is astonishing.
