The Importance of Celibacy

The marriage itself as a project is not the end. It's this exercise of charity that is this common project for all the Christians, or our measure. The consecrated now is a eschatological sign, the sign of the end and what will come. And so whether you're married or you're single or you're consecrated, your principle end is this union with God in total self-gift of yourself.
