The idea of patriarchy specifically what we're seeing in the conservative evangelical tradition is actually more influenced through history than it is through the Bible. So if you're familiar with the Reformation, it went from the priests were in charge and like that's how you got to God was through the priest. It now made kind of the men the priests of the home. And so that's how it kind of continued.
