The Importance of Uncertainty in Spiritual Experiences

A lot of times when you have what you would refer to as a spiritual experience you're just kind of a feeling that you've had or a notion or a hunch. Authority figures, the bad friends, they present their experiences as all undeniable and then they retreat into authority to get you to accept it. This is so appealing to us right now because so many of us are catastrophizing. Catastrophizing is seizing time inappropriately. It's the way we move to something we've imagined. What do I mean by that?
