Lenin Trotsky and the Communist Party

There's a really good anecdote in the book where Trotsky talks about the leading Bolsheviks or being horse. He says that Stalin alone kept his voice so no one really listened which I think is, again it's not something that we're saying in a petty way or it was a matter of historical slander. You can see it in the record, he's not mentioned. The party by 1917 was known as the party of Lenin Trotsky. It was clear that Lenin and Trotsky were seen as figureheads of the Bolsheviks.
