The Hardest Thing About Abolition Is the Love of Scepticism
Police abolition is not going to happen overnight in the united states. Slavery abolition just didn't mean that slaves would disappear. It means that we would fight to create a society where black people can live with dignity and freedom, peace and justice. And so i don't think i'm going to see the total eradication of police imprases in my lifetime. But what can happen in all our lifetimes is the will and the commitment and the courage,. right to have the courage to make sure that it does happen in the future.
