There's an issue here, a base level issue that I still see with friends of mine today, especially conservative friends. And in many ways, at least from my perspective, and you might go a lot more deeper than this than me, this was a rallying cry. Communism was a rallying call to say, Hey, see all those white guys over there as French guys, those British guys, if we group together, we can beat them because we have people power. They might have everything else, but they can't defeat our populations. That's essentially what happened, isn't it?
