The Importance of ARR in SaaS
I think my analysis of what happened was that people founders have noticed that you get the great multiple for ARR as a SaaS company. But there's a huge difference because consumption changes. My rule is if your ARR ever goes down, it's not ARR. We've got to be more honest as founders about what is AR and segmented. I would say the two worst investments I've made are Theranos or FTX.
