When you're with a publisher, they take 90 % paper back sales, 75 e book sales. So even if you're doing averagely well, you're not making enough money to just be an author. I think because my sight was always to be a number one best selling author, i had this inner drivein ambition. As a self published author, it was a bit of a phenomenon. And i kept checking my platform anlit and i was in two thousand books a day. Yet i haven't looked back since.
