Tongsu's Life

Every season a tinkerer passed through the valley riding a wagon pulled by a mule. Unless Tongsu went to the village he saw no one else, this became his life. He grew his own food and made his own rice wine. Sometimes at the start of evening he would pack a bottle of rice wine and let the music play for as long as it could. There was an immense cluster of very large pale stones near the riverbank that were not from the war but from long before.
