Is There a False Binary in Comedy?

There does seem to be false binaries aside this idea that there are comedians who are relatable. I've always felt that like a comedian like Jerry Seinfeld or Michael McIntyre is a heartbeat away from becoming a world leader. You can be a type of comedian that comes on stage and says this is my worldview and This is what I think about things. And some of you are gonna come and laugh at me because you think it's funny that I'm telling you these stories because it is very Unlike your life. Is that fair? I couldn't agree more with that.
