I think that there's a really important place for people in this world who are specialists. But also, there's some value of being what I call a floater. Ben Franklin cared about everything from anatomy to the arts. Steve Jobs was that way; Jennifer Doudner loves the humanities and applies it to the sciences. That's a form of creativity as well.
