The Myth of Polyandras

In the 1980s, Patricia Goarty discovered that a clutch of eggs has several fathers. The discovery sparked what was called a polyandry revolution in zoology. In animals as diverse as lizards to lobsters to lions, females will mate with multiple males for a variety of reasons. And it's all literally, literally takes two to tango.
