J. T. Jourdan: I think part of the problem is that we are almost incapable of talking about systemic issues here in the States because everything has become so hyper individualized. Some of it stems from the change that happened during the French Revolution when we started to focus on the individual rights. And then beyond that kind of like the the age of reason when, you know, literally labor became divorced from its output and then there was that alienation. He says those things actually are intricately connected.
