How to Shape the Conversation on Return for Investment

I think what I hear us saying is if we had access to data, and we could say things like the average time to debug is so long. We don't understand this system. And it's really complex. We should just rewrite it. It's not really that bad. There's a workaround. And so the software itself slowly incrementally becomes worse. What would be the difference in the quality if we had found and fixed it early, reverse it as it is now? That was a big part of my job. Because again, they're generating Pabytes of data every three to four hours.
