Leonardo the Urban Planner lived through a plague in Milan. He designed an ideal hygienic city based on circulatory principles of the body. Canals are going to be the arteries of the city, and he pioneers external staircases so people can get fresh air. And then there'd be two major meeting areas that would funnel the public out into the countryside.
