The Metacrest Pro Is a Mixed Reality Headset
The $34.99 headset runs a new operating system called VisionOS. It is powered by an M2 chip plus a new R1 chip for recognizing hand gestures. Apple has also created a whole new thing called, I think it's called Apple Interactive Video. This is 180 degree VR video. They're shooting it on a new 8K camera that Apple has developed as well.
