I don't think I had put together really that the evangelical churches and my adolescents were plants. So I found this like very Jesus forward Methodist church that was run by a group of people, many of whom were queer. And it was a church plant. But you know, in discernment with the pastors, it was very clear pretty quickly. Like I'm called to do this. If I want a place to go to church, if I want a church in my community that exists for people like me, I might have to make it.
