The Importance of Usability Testing

Parry: I'm thinking that during a usability test, people's conscious brains are going to be more used than they usually are when they're in their everyday life. So yet another argument against traditional usability testing. Parry: Eye tracking isn't where you're subconscious looking; it's where your conscious is looking. And so Bart's example there of optimised Lee actually emailing out, we have a winner. Is bad form because it doesn't tell you anything about what's happening behind the scenes.
