In the original script they gave an engineer this dialogue that explained the whole movie, but he cut it which was that in the Bible when Jesus wasn't there for however many years, that these engineers, these aliens, came, picked them up, brought them to their planet, taught them how they should teach humanity,. They failed, and that's why these aliens want to come back and wipe it out because it's gotten so bad. The world is round too, Sean. It's a great idea.
