Jews in Eastern Europe
Oshkanazi jews came to eastern europe in the 17th century. They filled a gap left by crusading armies that massacred jews. By 18 hundred or so, most of all Jews were askanazi. Now they live in central eastern europe - poland, lithuania, ukraine and galisia.
