The Difference Between Digital Modeling and Digital Twinning
There is a bizarrely enormous yet subtle difference between digital modeling and digital twinning. Digital models are exactly what they sound like, right? The point at which it becomes a digital twin is when you start introducing real world sensors into the physical object. So in the example I gave for the FAA, that was the case. We would model a heavy weather condition and then load this plane up with sensors.
