The Limits of the Schrodinger Equation
The Schrodinger equation is built from a Newtonian idea of space and time. It breaks down if you start including the effects of relativity. The person who finally solved this problem was a young physicist named Paul Dirac. He combined special relativity with quantum mechanics to come up with his equation that we now call the Dirac equation.
