Israeli Protests - Is Netanyahu Trying to End the Independent Judiciary?

In Israel, the judiciary has the power to strike down any law that the Israeli parliament passes by saying it's unconstitutional or whatever. So there is an unelected judiciary in Israel with a veto or parliament. The people have to be supreme in any nation, not unelected judges.
