How I Got My First Job in the Finance Industry
I started applying for all the big management consultancy firms and investment banks because they came to school and presented themselves. I kind of behaved a bit weirdly on the interviews. But in the end I applied for a broker's assistant position at a very small and newly started broker firm. It was called Scandinavia Fund Commission. When I got it, I was more or less supposed to just get burgers for those guys but quite soon they realized that well he probably should be more of an analyst guy.
