Bartholome was a very important writer for me when i was younger. When i read it this time several years ago, fom maria, and i felt that emotion,. changed the weight of the story entirely for me. Gave the story much more weight and much more gravity. You know, there's only so much interpretive work you can do. These stories are experiences. They last for as long as we're reading, and then they last beyond that.
