The skill of being able to pause before you say anything, which is both uses their awareness of themselves to say. And so one of the biggest skills we were working on with this feedback system is to stop the client. You might just like have your partner say something and then you time them. So when they're doing other practices and they don't pause, you call timeout, go back and practice pausing again five more times until you build this new habit.
