The Difference Between Marxism and Leninism
Vladimir Lenin developed a slightly different view of Marxism, which fit the circumstances of Russia at the time in 1917. He just retconned boxes and said, not, you don't need to progress. What you need is a small group of intellectuals, the so called Vanguard of the proletariat. So they can lead the peasantry to communism. That's an incredibly simplified description of Lenin. But yeah, it's all as tense to often be the means by which one gets there. And that tends to stem from like how you interpret history and the progress of history and all that sort of stuff.
