The Resiliency of the Party in 2021

I'm curious the resiliency topic. Where does the field stand right now in, you know, andy nathan's papers, what, 20, 20 some odd years old? An give us a thumbnail sketch of where the field is on resiliency. Why is the party still in power in 20 21? Do we know the kind of composite bricks and mortar of the party's legitimacy or their still massive sort of questions plaguing the field)? I think there's a lot of unanswered questions.
